Christmas Celebrations in the Southern Downs

Christmas on the Southern Downs is always true to the region’s resilient bush heritage. This year, Southern Downs Regional Council promises to celebrate our country charm with a festive line-up of free community events that family and friends will remember for years to come. 

Nothing says Christmas like Carols in the Park, and Leslie Park and Weeroona Park will again be transformed into Christmas wonderlands as local entertainers jingle their way through all the Christmas classics.

Santa’s little helpers have also been extra been busy and this year’s calendar includes Santa’s Storytime and a free Christmas movie screening of Elf in the parks.
