NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for community members to celebrate and learn more about one of the oldest living cultures in the world. You can support and celebrate NAIDOC Week 2024 by attending one of the following FREE community led events, delivered by local support organisations in the Southern Downs Region.
Monday, 8 July
- NAIDOC March – 9:00 am from corner of Palmerin and Percy Street
- QPS Flag Raising Ceremony – 10:00 am at Warwick Police Station (followed by morning tea)
- NAIDOC Community Fun Day – 11:00 am at Leslie Park
Tuesday, 9 July
- River Walk with Headspace – 9:30 am at Tiddalik the Frog at Federation Park
- NAIDOC Kids Colouring In Workshop 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm (near Coles) at Rose City Shoppingworld
- BushKIDS Elders Morning Tea – 10:30 am at Warwick BushKIDS (191 Wood Street)
Wednesday, 10 July
- NAIDOC Storytime at Warwick Library – 10:30 am
- NAIDOC Kids Colouring In Workshop 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm (near Coles) at Rose City Shoppingworld
Thursday, 11 July
- Goolburri and Mercy Community Lunch (113 Percy St) – 11:30 am
Friday, 12 July
- Goolburri Fun Day at Leslie Park – 10:00 am
