Council provides financial assistance to recognised peak industry associations to support multi-year collaborative initiatives that strengthen the Southern Downs economy.
Everything an applicant needs to know about Council's Strategic Industry Association Funding stream can be found in the Strategic Industry Association Funding Guidelines (PDF 360.3KB). Council encourages all applicants to read the guidelines prior to completing an application form online.
Council would like to inform prospective applicants that they should not rely on Council as a continual or sole source of income and should actively pursue other avenues of funding and collaborations, to bolster their association’s activities.
