Intensive animal industry mapping layer
The
Southern Downs Regional Council (SDRC) provides the Intensive animal industry
mapping layer as a service to the community. Whilst SDRC takes care to ensure
this information is accurate, the information has been compiled from a variety
of different sources, and SDRC cannot guarantee that this information is
accurate. The size of the buffer area for each Intensive animal industry
is determined based on the separation distances required for a Dwelling house
as stated in Acceptable outcome 5.2 of Table 9.3.7.3 of the Residential uses
code. The buffers have been measured from the outer most infrastructure
associated with the intensive animal industry. Whilst care has been taken to
provide accurate information regarding the extent and location of the buffers,
inaccuracies may exist. SDRC may update and change information in this
layer at its own discretion. It is advised that you contact SDRC to
confirm the location of Intensive animal industries.
