Warwick Temporary Water Shutdown

WATER INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE - WARWICK

Council wishes to advise that planned works have been scheduled to be undertaken on the water network on Monday the 3rd August starting at 11:59pm and completing at 4:00am on Tuesday 4th August, weather permitting. There may be water interruptions during this period that could affect up to 6500 household and businesses.

This work is part of Council’s wider commitment to upgrade and maintain water infrastructure for the ongoing provision of quality water to Southern Downs Region’s residents and businesses.

Once supply is restored following this work, you may experience some pressure fluctuations and/or discoloured water. If this is the case householders are advised to allow a tap on their property to run for a minute or two until the water becomes clear. If the issue persists for longer than a few minutes or if you have any requirements or concerns during this time, please contact Council’s Water & Wastewater Construction Supervisor, Greg O’Malley on 1300 697 372.

Council seeks your co-operation during this period and apologises for any inconvenience.
