3 February 2022

Southern Downs not-for-profit and community groups can apply for up to $2,000 in funding through Southern Downs Regional Council’s 2021-2022 Community Grants program which is currently open for applications.

Aimed at local organisations with projects or ideas that would benefit from financial assistance, these community grants provide funds to either bolster existing funding or get ideas off the ground or over the line.

Applications can be submitted up until Friday 17 June 2022, however the program may close sooner if funding has been fully allocated.  All projects or activities funded through the Community Grant program must occur between 15 February 2022 and 31 July 2022.

Applications will need to be made online via SmartyGrants. The link to the application form and program guidelines is available on Council’s website at https://www.sdrc.qld.gov.au/doing-business/grants-to-community-radf/grants-to-community.  For more information on the program, please contact Community Grants Officer Zoe Dunlop on 1300 MY SDRC (1300 697 372) or head to www.sdrc.qld.gov.au.
