Granite Belt Beats, Bites and Bounce bumps into Stanthorpe this November
6 October 2021
On Saturday 6 November 2021, the Stanthorpe Showgrounds will come to life with music and entertainment at the Granite Belt Beats, Bites, and Bounce event.
This free, family-friendly outdoor event will promote local music and feature food vendors from around the region with the major drawcard being an expansive inflatable playground and obstacle course.
Southern Downs Regional Council hopes that the event will bring a much needed boost to the Stanthorpe community, which is still recovering from bushfires and drought, with a fun-filled afternoon of recreation and relaxation.
Two inflatable obstacle courses will provide ample opportunity for teenagers to test their gladiator games grit and a jumping castle will provide bouncing fun with friends for the younger children.
Southern Downs Councillor Sheryl Windle said events like this are instrumental in uniting and engaging a resilient community as it continues to recover from hard times.
“One of the benefits of Granite Belt Beats, Bites and Bounce is to bring the community together and do something fun with the family, particularly following the hard years of drought and recent bushfires,” she said.
“The social benefits of this event will be far reaching as it fosters community spirit and pride, builds resilience and encourages community members to come out and connect with one another and once again strengthen those supportive community relationships.”
Although Granite Belt Beats, Bites and Bounce is free, tickets are still required following COVID-safe regulations and are available at Stanthorpe Tickets www.Bit.ly/GBBeatsBitesBounce.
In the event of wet weather, all activities will be moved inside so the party will still go ahead!
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult to attend.
