Connolly Dam Camping Ground

An alternative for bush camping and self-contained caravans

Connolly Dam camping ground is located at 1010 Connolly Dam Road, Silverwood, Warwick 4370. Part of Connolly Dam Road is gravel and the access roads within the camping grounds are all gravel.

Connolly Dam has 20 unpowered grass sites, for self-contained caravans and tent campers. There are no designated sites and are available on a first come first served basis.  Campers are welcome to stay for up to 7 days.

Facilities

  • 1 toilet block with disabled facilities
  • Hot showers (on a timer)
  • Dump point for caravans
  • Swimming
  • Canoeing (non-motorised only)

Booking a Site

Pre-booking campsites is currently not available.  The site has a self-registration system and Council Officers visit daily to collect payments and check campers have registered correctly.  Look for the registration box on site with self-registration camping forms.

Campground Rules

  • No campfires
  • All flora & fauna is protected
  • All vehicles to remain on formed roads and other designated areas
  • Noise curfew is in place from 10:30pm to 6am
  • Camping is restricted to areas designated by the Caretaker

Not permitted on site:

  • Campfires or bonfires
  • Dogs, cats or domestic pets, horses and livestock
  • Glass bottles
  • Explosive devices and weapons
  • Unregistered motor vehicles
  • Camping beyond high water mark
  • Powered boats (excluding electric powered)
