Meet beloved children’s author Rory H. Mather!

Families are invited to join us as acclaimed Australian children’s author Rory H. Mather returns to Southern Downs Libraries these school holidays.

Rory is a favourite among young readers across Australia, known for his joyful, funny and imaginative picture books that inspire kids to pick up a book and fall in love with reading.

Once a reluctant reader himself, Rory now creates playful, accessible stories that spark confidence and creativity in children. Rory will read his latest stories, Banjo the Hot Cross Bun and Laugh in the Bath.
