A water main break which is currently affecting Leyburn’s water supply has been reported to Southern Downs Regional Council.
A SDRC crew is on-site and are working to repair the break. Repairs are expected to be finalised within several hours.
Water trucks are also en route to top up the reservoir whilst repairs are progressing to ensure water supply is fully restored as soon as possible.
Residents may experience some pressure fluctuations or discoloured water once the supply is restored. Residents who experience water discolouration are advised to run their taps until water runs clear.
Council recommends saving any discoloured water in a handy container as water is still safe for all purposes other than drinking.
