The Southern Downs agricultural community, together with our residents and Southern Downs Regional Council, welcomes all Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme workers, backpackers, seasonal workers, Australian and international students, and graduate visa holders to our beautiful region.

You are invited to join the community for a free BBQ where you can learn more about the region from producers, accommodation providers, employment agencies and associated government agencies.

Let's celebrate together as we launch into the 2023 fruit and vegetable season in the Granite Belt - one of Queensland's premier fruit and vegetable growing regions.
