Remembrance Day 2024 in Warwick

Remembrance Day 2024 Warwick Banner

On 11 November at 11 am, we will pause to remember all of the men and women of the Australian Defence Force who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Venue Leslie Park

Palmerin St, Warwick, Australia

Date 11 Nov 2024 - 11 Nov 2024
Time 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

On 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare. With their armies retreating and close to collapse, German leaders signed an Armistice, bringing to an end the First World War.

As a mark of respect to those who have died and suffered, Australians are encouraged to pause at 11 am to observe one minute’s silence and remember those who died or suffered for Australia's cause in all wars and armed conflicts.

Please join the RSL Sub Branch and local community members to mark this Remembrance Day with an official commemorative service near the Warwick War Memorial in Leslie Park.

We will remember them. Lest we forget.
