Living Here

Council recognises the importance of young people to the future of our community and the value of considering young people and facilities for the region. In recognising this, Council is committed to addressing the needs of youth in our community, both directly and indirectly through collaboration with other agencies and non-government organisations. Emphasis will be on building partnerships, developing young people to have a voice and support to become self-sufficient.

1 Youth problem solving activity

Council provides opportunities for our young people to develop, participate and be engaged and heard in several ways, such as youth development programs, supported events and activities and through the provision of services and facilities including art galleries, cycling trails, fitness walks, libraries, parks and open spaces, pools, and skate parks.
