COVID-19 vax clinic at Warwick Town Hall

11 November 2021

Darling Downs Health will return to Warwick to provide doses of the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccinations at a pop-up clinic at Warwick Town Hall.

The clinic will operate from Friday 12 November to Monday 15 November from 8.30am to 4pm daily. Anyone over the age of 12 years is eligible and welcome and no bookings are required.

Southern Downs Mayor Vic Pennisi encouraged the community to take advantage of the clinic and roll up their sleeves for the jab.

“Council will continue to be guided by the health authorities to keep our communities safe from this invisible enemy,” Mayor Pennisi said.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to roll up their sleeves and get the jab for the greater good.

“I’ve already had both my jabs because I want to be around my grandchildren for a little while longer.”

If you plan to attend the clinic, please bring ID, your Medicare card and a pen.

The Stanthorpe State School will also host a pop-up vaccination clinic on Saturday 13 November between 9am and 4.30pm.

The community is reminded of the current restrictions and requirements:

  • Maintain physical distancing - 1 person per 2 m2 or stay at least 1.5m from others.
  • Wear a mask if required and maintain hand hygiene.
  • Use the Check In Qld app.
  • Get tested if you are unwell and remain in isolation until a negative result is received.
  • Stay at home when sick.

Darling Downs Health is also kindly asking people to limit visits to the Warwick Hospital and The Oaks Retirement Village at this time.
