THE John Dee Rodeo Street Parade returns in 2019, with a focus on participation and creativity. The call is on for businesses, organisations, schools and individuals from all around the region to get involved in what is hoped will be one of the biggest parades in recent times. The goal is to have 50 entrants this year, so get involved!

Entries will be judged in their nominated category with the 2019 Warwick Rodeo Parade theme being ‘Australiana’. We invite you to think about how your organisation/group/business or school can participate with creativity, fun and colour.

The parade will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 9am (marshall from 7.30am).

Float categories include:

  • Best in theme – ‘Australiana’
  • School exhibit
  • Business and commercial
  • Club, sport or other organisation
  • Decorated bike (children)

$500 prize money will be awarded to winners of each category except the decorated bike category which will receive $100. Floats will marshal in Queens Park and will be pre-judged here prior to the start of the parade. All floats will be required to take part in the full length of the parade.

This year, the first 25 entrants will receive a $20 Bunnings voucher to help with float preparations.

Be part of the fun and celebrate the John Dee Rodeo Street Parade, a Warwick tradition.
