  • Food scraps
  • Disposable nappies
  • Ceramics and ovenware
  • Small broken household items
  • Non-recyclable plastic & glass (pyrex, plate glass)
  • Polystyrene
  • Plastic bags
  • Tissues
  • Paper Towels

Don’t include

  • building material such as bricks, rocks, soil or concrete
  • car batteries
  • motor parts
  • oils, solvents or paints
  • hot ashes
  • tree stumps

Recycling-binWhat goes in my recycling bin?   

  • paper including newspaper, magazines and advertising brochures
  • cardboard including egg cartons and pizza boxes (flattened)
  • cartons such as milk and juice cartons and tetrapacks (rinsed)
  • plastic bottles and containers with lids removed
  • glass bottles and jars
  • aluminium cans and pie trays (no food scraps) steel cans and empty aerosols
  • cartons printed with the below logo's are also accepted:
