Mobile Muster
Mobile Muster is the official national mobile phone recycling program in Australia. This program is free to the public and aims to ensure that mobile phone products don't end up in landfill - but instead are recycled safely and securely. It also provides for the safe disposal of harmful substances such as nickel, cadmium and lithium that are found in mobile phone components.
If you have an unwanted mobile sitting in a drawer at work or at home, don't dump it, recycle it. Pop it into a public collection tube. If this is not convenient, you may pick up a recycling satchel from any Australia Post outlet and post it to Mobile Muster using a free mailing label obtained from the Mobile Muster website.
All mobiles received are dismantled and recycled, and any data left on a device is destroyed through the recycling process.
