Requesting a Copy of a Property Transaction list

To obtain a transaction list of your property rate account the request may be submitted in writing, by email, in person or by telephone.  Alternatively, you can register for Council’s online services and view your rate account transaction list at any time.

Please note – Council only holds transaction details for up to 15 years depending on the property.

Copies of a properties rate account transaction list currently held within the property system is only available for free to the current ratepayer, real estate agent (by authority from  the current owner), or acting solicitor. Requests for copies of a properties transaction list by any other person or entity will incur a fee of $10.00 per property.  Requests for transactions not currently held within the property system there will incur a fee for any person or entity requesting such, including the current owner or agent.  The fee is dependent on the number of financial years requested and the time spent searching archives.

Requesting A Copy of a Rate Notice

To obtain a copy of your rate notice or water rate notice, the request may be submitted in writing, by email, in person or by telephone. Copies of notices are only available to the current ratepayer, real estate agent (by authority from owner), or acting solicitor. Requests for copies of rate notices and utility notices issued prior to 1 July 2018 will incur a fee of $10.00 per notice per property. 

Current ratepayers may request a copy of their rate notice and utility notices issued in the current financial year for free.
