How to Receive your rates notice via email


It's easy and convenient to receive your rates notices direct to your email inbox.

By switching to electronic billing, you will receive your bi-annual notice and water consumption notices as an Adobe PDF to your nominated email address, and will no longer receive a paper copy by regular post.  You can then download, save, print or just leave the notices in your inbox to access and pay on the go.

We are proud to be delivering this "Go Green, Go Paperless" initiative and moving towards a more sustainable future by providing your rates notice via email. (No paper copy will be issued).

This initiative will allow you to:

  • easily access, print and reprint notices wherever they are
  • conveniently store notices electronically
  • receive your notice promptly - faster than standard mail
  • save costs through reduced paper, printing, envelopes and postage
  • change the delivery method at any time (add additional emails, revert to post, etc)

NOTE:  Registration will take effect for the next rates notice issue.

How to subscribe to eNotices

To register for email delivery, please complete the online registration form.  You will need to complete this form for each property that you own.

You will need:

  • A current email address
  • The unique eNotice reference number from your rates notice (only rates issued since August 2020 have the eNotice reference number).
Your unique reference number will be shown on your notice. 

You will have your own individual reference number as shown in the example on the right.

Register for eNotices button

Step 1

Click on the "Register for eNotices" image above.

Step 2

Enter your email address and eNotice Reference Number (find this number next to the eNotices logo on your notice as per the image in the table above).

Step 3

Click "Sign Up".  You will receive an email to validate your registration.

Step 4

Check your email inbox for the validation email and click the validation link.

Step 5

Select a password and mobile number.

That's it!  You will now receive notices in your email inbox, and can login to view them online at any time.

We respect the privacy of the personal information held by us. The way in which council manages personal information is governed by the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). We are collecting your personal information in accordance with Local Government Act 2009 so that we can manage your contact details and provide you with an electronic rating notice. Generally, we will not disclose your personal information outside of Council unless we are required to do so by law, or unless you have given us your consent to such disclosure.  However, in performing the above functions, we may need to disclose your personal information to Forms Express.
