A supplementary rates notice is issued on a property if there has been a change in the valuation, the legal description (eg the owner has subdivided theland), if the property has multiple parcels of land and the owner is selling oneor some of the land parcels and if a new levy is to be charged on the property(eg new domestic and recycling bins).
Supplementary rates run are issued at least 4 times a year.
Once the property owner receives the supplementary rates notice they have 30 daysfrom the date of issue for payment to be made to receive the discount. Afterthe 30 days has passed the full gross amount must be paid.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, eftpos, BPay and on online via credit card.
