Organisation Summary
TASC provides a range of free services to the vulnerable and marginalised members of the community.

Legal - TASC provides a range of free services to the vulnerable and marginalised members of our community – people who are at risk, people who have disabilities (physical and/or intellectual), people who have mental illness, people who might not otherwise have a voice in our community.

Advocacy - TASC provides a range of free services to the vulnerable and marginalised members of our community – people who are at risk, people who have disabilities (physical and/or intellectual), people who have mental illness, people who might not otherwise have a voice in our community.

Psychology & Counselling Service - TASC Psychology and Counselling Services provides a range of services to adults, adolescents and children from all walks of life and of all cultural and religious backgrounds.

QSTARSQld Statewide Tenant Advice and Referral Service (QSTARS) provides free tenancy advice and support services for Queensland renters depending on need and capacity to self-advocate. Services include:

·           Information and referral – to assist clients access information regarding their renting rights and responsibilities, and information to sustaining tenancies. This includes factsheets, website and other and other information products yet to be developed.

·           Individual advice and assistance – Personalised advice and assistance about tenancy rights and available related services.

·           Expert advice and professional support – Specialist advice on tenancy rights and personalised support to exercise tenancy rights.

       
NDIS - 
TASC provides quality National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Support Coordination services to help you link with services of your choice and support options of your own choice.  We will work with you to strengthen your ability to manage your own supports and to participate as you want to in your community.  We will support you to make your personal plan the best plan for you.  We can also assist you to manage your budget, to ensure that you have the power to make your goals real!

 

TASC is independent – with no ties to any community agency or provider. We are here to help you.
