Organisation Summary
A dedicated space for women of all ages to come together to socialise, learn, create and nurtutre new friendships

The Ladies Shed or She Hive as we are known as is a place of safety and inclusiveness. Women of all ages are welcome to join us to make new friends, for peer support, and have some 'me time'.  Weekly activities can be as simple as a get together for  a chat over a cuppa, or planning an event or fundraiser for the community.  Weekly activities are as diverse as the member interests with cooking and sharing of recipes, discussions on movies & books, topics of interest, creative activities, self care, mindfulness activities, and  DIY skills. The group supports community events, outings to local venues like wineries, cafes, farm visits and retail shopping. There are regular activities for ourselves and the community through High Teas, Long Lunches, Rummage Sales and other events with inclusive and fun elements that raise funds for ourselves and the community. Individual interests are encouraged to be shared and supported with member driven workshops and outings.  Our core values are to reuse, recycle and repurpose while being mindful of our footprint for sustainable living.

As a registered charity, we are covered for Insurance for all volunteers and attendees and have a modest annual membership fee and weekly gold coin donation. Some workshops and activites will have a fee, while most will be free to members. Visitors are welcome to attend with members.
