Expressions of Interest - Advisory Committee Representatives
Expressions of Interest sought for Council Advisory Committee Community Reps
Following a recent review of its Advisory Committees, Southern Downs Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest from persons, including those aged 25 years or less, to become community representatives on three Council Advisory Committees. The Advisory Committees provide input and advice to Council on a specific topic or the strategic management of a facility on an ongoing basis.
Those Advisory Committees are:
- Economic Development and Regional Promotion Advisory Committee
The former Economic Development Advisory Committee and Regional Promotion, Tourism and the Arts Advisory Committee have been combined
- Shaping Southern Downs Advisory Committee
A new Advisory Committee that has been formed to provide Council with strategic guidance and advice in relation to its Shaping Southern Downs strategy which is focused on the future of the Southern Downs region.
- Events, Sport and Recreation and Advisory Committee
Some vacancies have arisen for new community representatives
Expressions of Interest should outline your skills and knowledge relevant to the topics and issues covered by the Advisory Committee, and should be addressed to the “Chief Executive Officer”.
Expressions of Interest close at 5.00pm on Wednesday, 31 October 2018.
