COVID-19 - Border eGates and Exemption information

Queensland Chief Health officer Exemption Letters

It is the responsibility of each exempt person to review the Queensland Public Health Directives and hotspot delcarations at the time of entry to Queensland to determine if they are subject to any amended requirements or obligations.  Additional information can be found on the  below Queensland Health website.

Queensland Border Crossing eGate Application Form

During the COVID-19 pandemic and whilst the Queensland border remains closed and/or manned, locals may be able to apply for remote access to the Queensland border eGates located at:

Cullendore Road, Cullendore (operational)

Summit Road, Glen Niven (operational)

Mingoola Station Road, Mingoola (operational)

Please note the application may take several days to be processed as Council and the Queensland Police Service validate the need of each applicant.
