Winners of the 2019 John Dee Warwick Rodeo Street Parade announced

26 October 2019

Beautiful weather and a buzzing Rodeo crowd this morning saw over 60 entries take on the 2019 John Dee Warwick Rodeo Street Parade, and after all the dust had settled the winners were chosen.

Despite navigating their way through all the colour and excitement of a huge field of floats, the judges finished their deliberations and the cream of the crop rose to the top.

The entry that got right into the “Australiana” spirit of the occasion and took out the Best In Theme award is Assumption College Warwick.

Best School Exhibit went to Warwick Christian College, the Best Business Entry was Bradfield Building and the Club, Sport or Other Organisation that stood out from the crowd was Move School of Dance.

Congratulations go to the Gray Children, who now officially have the Best Decorated Bikes in town and win $100 for their efforts.

Each of the other categories takes out a $500 prize and these will be presented in the coming weeks.

Southern Downs Regional Council would like to say a huge thanks to major sponsor John Dee for providing the prizes and to our great supporter Warwick Credit Union.

Many thanks also to the judges, Lewis Von Stieglitz - CEO of Warwick Credit Union, Gerard O’Leary – President of the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society, and Jane Pollard – Treasurer of Warwick Chamber of Commerce.

Huge thanks must go to Warwick SES and our local emergency services for their support. Lastly thank you to everyone who got up and got involved in the 2019 John Dee Warwick Rodeo Street Parade - well done and we hope to see you again in 2020.
