Get your business into shape with FREE Project Management Bootcamp
Businesses across the Southern Downs looking to bulk up their project management skills will want to sign up for Council’s Project Management Bootcamp.
Southern Downs Regional Council has partnered with Interlink Technology Services and Endure Data Science to host the FREE bootcamp style workshop.
The bootcamp is designed to introduce local businesses to project management techniques that will help them deliver on ambitious ideas and navigate current drought conditions.
The workshop will provide attendees with the techniques necessary to effectively manage their time and costs to achieve successful outcomes.
Southern Downs Councillor for Economic Development, Regional Promotion and Tourism, Rod Kelly, said the workshop was an excellent opportunity for all local businesses to seek advice on how to help their business grow.
“Workshop presenters will actively engage attendees and use ‘old school’ presenting techniques that will assist with improving project management skills and how to achieve long-term goals,” Cr Kelly said. “In order to succeed in today’s economy businesses of all sizes need to effectively manage projects so they can deliver successful outcomes.
“The workshop will also help local businesses manage projects in our region’s current drought conditions and help them prepare for any future droughts.
“The Project Management Bootcamp provides businesses in our region the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to effectively manage projects both big and small.”
SDRC will host these workshops in both Warwick and Stanthorpe on Wednesday, 24 October.
In Warwick, SDRC will hold the workshop in the Warwick Library Meeting Room on Albion Street from 10:30am to 12:30pm. In Stanthorpe, SDRC, in conjunction with Stanthorpe and Granite Belt Chamber of Commerce, will hold the workshop in the Supper Room of the Stanthorpe Civic Centre on Marsh Street from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
