Utility Charges - Water

Supply Area 1 will be areas receiving potable water and are water areas:

For land in the Supply Area 1

1.   Access Charges

The following water charges shall apply to domestic and non-domestic properties as described below:

f.  Access charges do not apply for water supplied to land situated outside the Water Supply Area directly connected to untreated water (Connolly Dam, Leslie Dam & Storm King Dam) supply.

 
   

2.  Consumption Charges

The following water charges shall apply to domestic and non-domestic properties as described below:

a.  For each kilolitre used on land to which water is supplied and measured by meter, per kilolitre or part thereof for that quantity of water used or estimated to be used and for each connection tariff will accumulate in accordance with Council policy

b.  For each kilolitre used on non domestic land to which water is supplied and has a water consumption of 5,000kls or greater per water year and measured by meter, per kilolitre or part thereof for that quantity of water used and for each connection tariff will accumulate in accordance with Council policy

c.  For each kilolitre used on land situated outside the Warwick water supply area directly connected to Warwick untreated water (Connolly Dam & Leslie Dam) supply and measured by meter, per kilolitre or part thereof for that quantity of water used and for each connection tariff will accumulate in accordance with Council policy

Pro rata adjustments for new or changed water services – applicable to all water areas

Connected water access charges will be charged from the date the access connection is provided, as documented by the Services Installation Record.

Changes to water access charges will be charged from the date of the change, as documented by the Services Installation Record.
