Southern Downs residents are set to find out when Southern
Downs Regional Council welcomes Team Cameroon’s Chef de Mission, Victor Agbor
Nso, to its next Mayoral Leadership Breakfast on Thursday, 22 March.
Mr Agbor Nso will share his insights into what it takes to
lead a nation into a major international sporting event and discuss the
business and sporting opportunities available in the African nation.
Council will host Team Cameroon’s 67 athletes in the lead up
to next month’s Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Southern Downs Regional Council Mayor Tracy Dobie said the
Mayoral Leadership Breakfast was a wonderful opportunity to officially welcome
the Cameroonians to the region.

The Mayoral Leadership Breakfast will be held at Kings Theatre
at Warwick RSL on Thursday, 22 March from 7am until 8.30am.
SDRC’S Mayoral Leadership Breakfast was to be held on
Friday, March 16, but was moved back due to a change in Team Cameroon’s flights
The rescheduling provides the opportunity for additional
members of Team Cameroon’s management team to be on hand for the event.
