Update: Water Mains Disruption - Rogers Street, Stanthorpe
This morning at approximately 7.40am Council had a burst water main near the new Rogers Street Car Park. This resulted in sediment entering the water network and will potentially resulting in Stanthorpe residents receiving discoloured water.
Council has isolated the burst water main to Rogers Street between Folkestone and Railway Streets and it is currently being repaired. It is estimated that the repair will take up to 4-6 hrs before water can be reinstated within the specified area.
If you experience discoloured water, Council recommends running the water until it is clear for use. Council will continue to flush the water lines over the next several days to return normal supply to residents.
